“Representation Matters,” six virtual programs (live streamed and recorded for rebroadcast) focused on civic engagement and the importance of representation in our democracy. Programs featured scholars and leaders in the community speaking on the theme. “Toward Justice” was a virtual keynote address by journalist Jelani Cobb of Columbia University and staff writer at The New Yorker. A youth podcast series, “AZ Uncensored Part 2,” focused on communities of color, and artists as advocates and activists, within their communities.
