Florida Humanities
In response to the highly divisive 2020 election and the subsequent storming of the US Capitol, Florida Humanities partnered with Braver Angels to host four interactive programs that convened citizens from opposing sides in respectful conversations to find areas of commonality and practice dispute resolution. Braver Angels is a national bipartisan citizens’ group whose mission is to depolarize politics and re-imagine what it means to be an American. A pre-election program featured the Florida Secretary of State.
