Georgia Humanities

Georgia Humanities partnered with the Atlanta Civic Circle, a nonprofit media organization, to encourage its readers to move from education to action, to go beyond voter registration and voting, and to uncover and examine issues. The project included: development of an online portal and digital library; a social media strategy connecting residents who may not take part in civic processes; the publication of weekly articles; hosting candidate debates with the Atlanta Press Association; conducting virtual book discussions on topics related to electoral issues; and cultivating an online community with opportunities for engagement.
