The council created “The Art of Voting: The 15th Amendment at 150,” a pop-up exhibit designed to inform Kansans about the history of electoral engagement and voter suppression. The modest sized pop-up exhibit engaged residents in six Kansas communities with information about the right to vote for African Americans, persistent voting inequalities, and the evolving civic responsibility of all Americans.
