Mass Humanities offered “This is Your Democracy: A Clemente Course on Civic and Democratic Engagement,” three online courses for graduates of the Clemente Course in the Humanities. Each six-week course offered readings and class discussions that created opportunities for participants “to read widely, think critically and write ethically about different movements” for equality and justice. Each week participants wrote one paragraph reflecting on how the week’s topic might connect to their own lives. In the final session, a professional editor guided participants through a revision workshop to polish two best mini essays.
