Michigan Humanities

Michigan Humanities presented a series of virtual conversations examining the electoral process through Michigan’s urban rural/divide and the influence of social media. The first conversation included two scholars specializing in urban/rural history and political science. who discussed the history behind the urban rural/divide and trends in voting behavior. Subsequent conversations focused on the impact social media has had on our elections, civic participation, and personal relationships with people of differing political beliefs.
