Pennsylvania Humanities Council

At a time of heightened polarization during the 2020 national election, the Pennsylvania Humanities Council helped bridge divides by inviting residents to participate in a two-part series of statewide townhalls on civic and electoral participation. Hosted in collaboration with WHYY, an NPR affiliate, the lively panels featured diverse perspectives from a cross-section of political leaders, journalists, scholars, and residents. Poignant video interviews with voters, alongside audience questions, spurred thoughtful dialogue. The programs were archived digitally.
