Utah Humanities conducted a six-part series on Democracy and Civic Participation. Partnering with scholars from Better Days 2020, the Tanner Humanities Center, and the College of Humanities at the University of Utah, programs examined such questions as: does democracy still exist in America; are elections fair; how gender plays a role in politics and elections; how immigrants play a part in elections, how our democracy is viewed by other countries; and what are the politics of race and civic participation in marginalized groups.
