Wyoming Humanities commissioned weekly columns about the constitution in the state’s largest newspaper, produced podcasts interviewing civics educators, editorial cartoonists, and journalists, and underwrote a Wyoming Public Television interview with their Secretary of State. They also hosted two virtual conversations and created a Collaborative Journalism Project to explore the state of Wyoming’s civic engagement through newspaper storytelling. Grants were awarded to eight Wyoming newspapers for journalists to examine how their respective communities could find common ground on difficult subjects.
