The Civic Reckoning that was 2020 (and What it Means for Teaching and Learning Civics)

An insightful Humanities to Go Online program exploring the civic principles at the center of 2020’s meltdown. Dianna Gahlsdorf Terrell, Ph.D. (Saint Anselm College) leads this talk on core democratic principles, how they are — and can be — taught in New Hampshire’s classrooms, and what civic knowledge must endure in order to withstand our democracy’s most challenging times.

This program was funded by the ‘Why It Matters: Civic and Electoral Participation’ initiative, administered by the Federation of State Humanities Councils and funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
